Thankyou for being here
Thank you for taking the time to look at my wedding photography.
Welcome to my passion, there's nothing better than for me to create and then deliver your very own memories from your wedding day.
Unposed and REAL, even the most camera shy couples end up with stunning images to show friends, family and most importantly yourselves, forever...
You need a photographer who is going to capture the tear in your Mum's eye as you get dressed, the proud look on your best man's face as you recite your vows,
and dancing with your best friends during the reception. These moments are fleeting and just as important--they are moments you won't realise happened until
scrolling through your gallery (memory loss understandable if the drinks were flowing!)
With hundreds (thousands?) of photographers out there, it can be a headache just decision making, but the main things to remember are...
'Will this person fit in?'
'How long will they take to give my images back?'
'Will we look natural in front of a camera?'
'Will this guy start break-dancing at the reception?'
I'll pass on that last one for now! But all your concerns can be addressed inside this website and by contacting me for further info once we get to the finer details.
Have a good look around and enjoy!
Tell me all about your plans!
(Dont forget to check Junk Mail Folder as the reply often goes to there!)
Timeless and beautifully crafted Wedding and Portrait Photography
Stevenage Wedding Photographer
My wedding and portrait packages are not only the best value in Hertfordshire,
I also offer more inclusions and benefits than anyone else
Let me tell you more....
What I will do for you...
- My photography style is natural, authentic, and timeless. I have been described as easy going and relaxed and believe that translates into how you will feel when working with me. I know how people can be nervous or self concious in front of a camera (me too I prefer behind the lens) and so by blending into the background or becoming part of the gang, everyone soon begins to enjoy having me record all the memories from the day or shoot.
- Instead of focusing on particular poses, I will prompt you into natural moments and movement. Every couple or individual interacts in their own way.
- I love editing photos, I could never give them back without hours of attention and giving you that look that you see around these pages. In the days gone by of film photography, the look was often classic Kodak or Fuji tones, and my editing aims to match those. Not only that, I deliver back you within 1-2 weeks, don't settle for waiting 1-2 months!
I’m Howard, the owner & principal photographer of Absolutephotouk.
I love being part of a wedding team, and to be the one responsible for capturing every moment of the special day.
Based in Hertfordshire, I cover the South East of UK, plus available for anywhere worldwide.
Get comfy as you browse my work;
Can you picture yourself in these photos? :)
My style is Light and Bright, natural skin tones,
and I aim for a filmic look from the days of Kodak and Fuji.
I love editing so much, I'm often straight on it the same night when I get home.
You will see edited samples in the morning!
Some Kind Words...

''As someone who doesn’t like having their photo taken I was quite nervous about having my picture taken on my wedding day, but Howard was so laid back and blended in with the family, I felt so comfortable! Howard also got our pictures back over to us so quickly, so it made it all the more special seeing them all for the first time whilst on our honeymoon!!''

''Howard has been amazing from our very first contact.
We booked him for our November wedding, postponed until next year due to Covid, then planned a commitment ceremony at short notice for this month.
Howard accommodated all of this for us and we are so grateful!
He is so unobtrusive, and a pleasure to have around! We and our guests felt entirely comfortable and we believe he got the best out of us all.
And the photos.....
He has a beautiful vision, he captured every little detail...''
